On December 25, Academician Jiang LAN, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and vice president of the University, led a team to visit Xiamen Double Ten Middle School in Fujian Province to make the first report for the opening of the Academic Festival and Science and Technology Festival of the school。Ouyang Ling, principal of Double Ten Middle School, received a delegation from the North Institute of Technology。

With the title "Femtosecond laser micro-nano Manufacturing", Jiang LAN focused on cutting-edge technology and brought a popular science feast for more than 1,000 teachers and students of Double Ten Middle School。Starting from the relationship between length and spatial scale and time and space, he demonstrated the important scientific value of femtosecond laser from small to grand, and introduced the cutting-edge application scenarios of femtosecond laser in many fields such as medicine and life science。He introduced his team's innovative research and technological breakthroughs in femtosecond laser micro-nano manufacturing, and encouraged the students to have the scientific spirit of pursuing truth and climbing peaks, to dare to innovate, to make breakthroughs, and to work hard for their dreams。
